mysql - How to take stored procedure backup as i already uninstalled wamp? -

i uninstalled wamp , reinstalled on drive . have taken folder c:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.5.24\data d:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.6.17\data database. takes tables , data not stored procedures.

can 1 explain me location of stored procedures files restore again?

you cannot copy databases between different versions of mysql database manager. things change when version numbers change.

i think have reinstall d:\wamp version of wampserver undo mistake of copying mysql5.5 data mysql5.6 environment.

  • do uninstall
  • manually delete d:\wamp
  • reinstall onto d:

  • check basic stuff works

  • stop wampserver

now copy backup of c:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.5.24\data d:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.5.24\data note should have 2 folders under d:/wamp/bin/mysql

so have 2 versions of mysql installed , available on new instance of wampserver.

  • start wampserver

  • switch old mysql version

    left click wampmanager->mysql->version , click on 5.5.24

  • take backup of databases want migrate new version of mysql. backup databases not didnt create yourself!

  • switch new version of mysql

    left click wampmanager->mysql->version , click on 5.6.17

  • now restore databases

you can either leave old version of mysql there , available switch if want or can stop wampserver , delete d:/wamp/bin/mysql/mysql5.5.24 folder. restart, , should no longer there availabel switch to.

mercurial graft feature, can it copy? -

there new feature in mercurial 3, called 'graft' (graft local). job of moving change-set different branch. is there way "copy" change-set branch? i interested in in moving stuff qa branch production branch, still need code reside in qa. want copy. found , have tried few things, maybe it'll become clear more tinkering , reading... does have better way of 'cherry picking' change-sets move cross branch (or trunk)??? graft copies changesets, doesn't move them. hg graft (emphasis mine): this command uses mercurial's merge logic copy individual changes other branches without merging branches in history graph. known 'backporting' or 'cherry-picking' . default, graft copy user, date, , description source changesets.
